Slave Galley on Ash

Today there was a small invasion so to speak. A pirate ship was spotted
on the high seas. A group of exiles gathered to attempt to sink the
vessel.

The ship (later identified to be a slave galley) made its way over our
dead and fallen bodies to ash island. In the inlet that lies on the
west shore of Ash Island, these brave exiles staged another stand
against the galley.

As the battle raged on the waters, another battle was joined on land.
Thugs and Blades lined the shore yelling for the galley to get the
slaves ashore and quickly. They seemed to be fearful of the priests and
acolytes to whom they where apparently transporting the slaves.

The slave galley was sunk in the inlet. At the current time we have no
report of any slaves that may have survived. Those that fought the
galley quickly turned to the shore to take on the slavers. After a
bloody siege, the exiles managed to get the upper hand over the
slavers. The exiles tried to keep the last slaver alive to answer
questions but he said he would not answer any questions. He even
dropped a couple of kegs trying to get the exiles minds off of the
questions that they wanted to ask.

As the last pirate was put to the sword, a group of acolytes and priest
attack the group from the direction of the dark temple. Another battle
ensued and again the exiles were victorious.

As most of the exiles continued toward the temple to see if that is
where the priest had originated, a few remained on the shore to
celebrate and get drunk. It was one of these exiles that found a new
item.

ShadowSky found a tattered parchment. He tried to read it but was
unable to comprehend the words.
