Week 33

After the recent storm, a group of us wanted to go to Snaggy and Wisher´s Gate to test the ability of the pathfinders. If they still could open the gate. It didn´t take long to figure out that all indeed could do that, and there we were. 3 fighters, 4 healers, and a mystic - Neige, that was sleeping in Bones when I took this sketch. What to do? After some hesitation, we decided we wanted to at least peek inside Hatred´s Hollow, to see what it was like. And I saw forward to having lightning in my hair again. We peeked, and then we stayed. And cleared the entrance. And the rod seemed to be stable, so we advanced. And had to retreat a bit. But, then we advanced again, and before we knew it we had gone through Hatreds Hollow with this little group. It was a rush. Great experience. The best thing of it was that we were such a good group, communicating. Of course, we didn´t meet a hatred in there. And we had around 1000+ Faustus, but with only 3 fighters and a mystic to kill things. Yor got his talk with Rodnus, and when we were about to leave, 4 Big Red Orgas showed up. Some more carnage! A bit of desorientation, as there were not many to drop them off by, but the healers had more than enough faustus to heal, and we killed them all. When we came back to OC we were met by a pack of little furry critters, brown and white, and of course those one eyed ones. Even more carnage! Weee!

Refareus had made this potion of energy, and said that the one who won his games, would win the thing. The townsquare was packed, as he laid out the rules. And game after game with hide and seek and races started. The winner in the end was Achates.

The potion require a myrm egg, a scavenger bird feather, and a bottle of water to make. Everyone can train in making it, but what it "really" does escapes the alchemists for the moment.

Week 32

Being fallen, as everyone knows, is boring. Terribly boring. What is even more frustrating is to be fallen, hear there is a rescue going on, but not be updated on the progress. Especially since the rescuers have to battle their way to Tenebrion´s keep, get to his chamber, get the crystal shards and the key, get to basement - travel the zodiac circle to get to us. Yes. Some rescues are just well.. biiig projects.

Laying fallen on the Plane though, I saw this cloaked figure. Appearing, disappearing and reappearing again. It was the Magi! And he healed me! I have heard tales of this being from others, but never met him, before now. But alas, how did I receive this gift? An astral drake got the best of me just as I raised my head, and then I fled to the next snell - only to fall there since the bolt already had hit me. And the Magi disappeared again, probably disappointed in the way I had taken care of his gift. There I lay for hours and hours alone, contemplating the planes, the brothers Brion, and the exiles.

I finally got word that the first rescue party had failed. But, that there was another in the works. The rescue party of the rescue party of the explorers. The last one being the group I was in. How did we end up in the ethereal plane? Coincidence and pushy exiles, like Entil´Zha, and me, and Entil´Zha, and Yor. And Prue. Ah well. You get the picture. We were just "dying" to go to EP this day. Or rather.. somewhere. We had Valley in mind, as well as Noth. First we tried to get trough the path on the west beach of Lyfe Isle. But Entil, that had fallen through on mistake some days before, was this time unable to open it. So we decided to travel the planes instead. Result was that we were fallen for over a PT day. Its boring. Oh. I just wrote that. After the second rescue attempt failed, we met up in Purgatory, and discussed how we could have made it better. I do think we are learning. Slowly.

You don´t always need 8 Astral Drakes, 15 Astral Guardians and loads of undine to start a rescue. Sometimes its enough with a rock in the head, and 20 wendies. I put Iho, Sai, Trystran and Webow on quite the test the other day. Iho was the first to arrive at the scene. Me - on the ground, fallen by a rock. Iho - calm, bursthealing me to yellow. I-dense, manages to get myself trapped by 10 wendies in the tunnel to north pass. Iho-muttering. Me- Oh no. Rock- Splats Baba. Iho calls for more help. Webow-Wraps his chain around me and starts running. Wendies - smells healerblood and makes a full attack. Webow - fallen. Iho calls for more help. Wendies roaming. And at that point I forget who chained and healed who. But all were pretty beaten up in the end. Wooo!

Some exiles met Lugubrion in Tenebrion´s chamber for the first time. Another of Mr T´s brothers. They very much repeated what Mr T have said earlier. K´pyn made a transcript, but in short, here is what they had to say: There is a constant flow of ether from Ethereal Plane. The stream is growing. They need our scholars to determine if the ether is building in Purgatory to confirm where it is going. And this is new I think: "It seems to pulse at intervals" See also the visionstone.

Karkras has escaped I hear, and is now back in Puddleby. He ran from the boat with darshaks on his heels, err.. paws.? and although he is marked by the adventure, he seems to be as wise and courteous as ever. The Hearts of Tan are undergoing some changes these days, having reached the first milestone in a clan´s existence. Good luck to you all. May the changes serve you well.

Healery is having meetings with her "friend" again. The book she found in the library while all in RQ had fox fever. She has this blank stare, I really wonder. The first time I thought she had read something about her mother, then collapsed and tried to forget all about it. Or maybe she is just plain old drinking in there? Using Mushrooms? She can tell us that the book and her are having long conversations, but she is not herself at all though when she talks about her "friend". She talks as if she has learned some lines and then just say them out loud.. like.. from a book...She has always been cloaked, and she is like Nevyn in that department. If you come too close to either of them, they pull their cloaks around tightly and seem very nervous. The latter is now a Full Mystic by the way. Woooooo! RQ´s first, and you know we have a few of them.. I happily and without regret stole this sketch from this glorious moment.

Week 31

Traveling the planes still. I just love to write that, traveling the planes... Yes, we are trying to be careful and not cause a stir in Purgatory. Last time we were there we were able to get a rescue together, thanks to Diotima who held tight to the stone and stayed home, and to all those that came and helped. That a depart from the ethereal plane will lead to Clouds in Purgatory got confirmed, sadly, as Haenk and Axell had to rush home to library. Seconds after they departed there were clouds roaming in Purg.
