This is also related to situation awareness. If you are aware of what happens around you, you can plan some steps in advance. You can take note of where the newly spawned beasties are moving, avoid getting trapped, see that the situation will become dangerous in some moments as there are some beasties moving down to wounded healers etc... I usually see 5 steps ahead at all times, it´s one of the things that makes me a conservative fighter, and also one of the things that start the blood-boiling within a certain Zo I know..:)
You can also predict when a beastie will swing.
Every beastie has it´s own rhythm. The time it takes between the swings. Not counting giant foxweirs, you can feel this rhythm, and predict the swing before it happens, so you hit it right after it swings at you. If you can barely hit the beast, this is very important, as you then only have a small window in which you can hit it.
When I was training enough atkus to hit Sar´Noths easy, I used this a lot. I had to be precise in my swing , I only had a 1 second window or less. I had to really focus my attention on the swinging Sar`noth, feel it´s movement and rhythm in order to time my swing right. Using this, you also make sure that your balance is at it´s highest possible when the beastie swings at you.
